Westwind 1 Aircraft - The IAI Westwind is a commercial jet originally produced by Aero Commander as the Jet Commander 1121. These included lengthening the fuselage and maximizing take-off, landing and maximum zero-fuel weight, and the wings were modified to incorporate double-slotted flaps and lowered leading edges and top tanks. The intrimable horizontal stabilizer was also modified to increase span and longer travel.

Shortly after the aircraft went into production, the original Geralt Electric KJ 610 turbojet engines were replaced with more fuel efficient Garrett TFE 731 turbofans.
